Inspired By Ron's Place' Exhibition Concludes with a Grand Artistic Celebration

Two-month Art Exhibition & Residency Culminates in an Interactive Grand Finale at Future Walls Gallery, Birkenhead

Merseyside residents are invited to get their creative juices flowing this bank holiday Monday at the grand finale celebration of the "Inspired By Ron's Place" exhibition and residency, scheduled for Bank Holiday Monday, 29th May. Taking place at Future Yard, 75 Argyle St, Birkenhead, the FREE event encapsulates the culmination of a two-month artistic journey, offering guests an immersive art experience inspired by the captivating world of the late Ron Gittins.

Ron Gittins, a local eccentric and artist, transformed his rented Birkenhead flat into an immersive artistic spectacle. With features including a Minotaur's head fireplace and a hallway reminiscent of an Egyptian tomb, Ron's living environment reflected his extraordinary imagination. This Grand Finale provides a unique opportunity to delve into this immersive atmosphere, allowing participants to connect with their own creative processes.

Participants will have the chance to witness a selection of previously unseen works and creative responses formulated during the #inspiredbyronsplace residency at the Future Walls Gallery,

Sanna King, one of the event organisers, expressed her enthusiasm about the event: "This has been an amazing project that's been inspiring and exhausting in equal measures. I'm so grateful to Future Yard and the artists that have helped us create an exhibition that reflects Ron's quirks and passions, and offers visitors the opportunity to get creative and be a part of it too. There's still lots to get involved in, and should be a great way to spend the bank holiday weekend!"

For those who haven't visited yet, it's the perfect chance to witness a wide array of photography and artwork inspired by Ron's Place. The exhibition also features original artworks by Ron, revealing the essence of his immersive artistic haven.

The event is FREE and open to all, but registration is essential.
