On the evening of 10th October, Lock and Quay in Bootle will transform into a bustling marketplace for the Sip and Shop event, as local fashion bloggers collaborate to host a sustainable fashion event.
Organised by Carolyn, aka Scouse Girl in the City, attendees can book a table for £7 to sell pre-loved fashion items. For those who prefer to go cash free (and card free!) Style Swap Social will be holding a scaled down version of their popular events on the night, offering the option to swap clothes for free!
The overarching aim is to promote sustainability and community engagement through fashion as well as having loads of fun with like minded fashion lovers.
In the UK, the fashion industry is a significant contributor to environmental degradation. Style Swap Social's mission aligns with the urgent need to address this issue. Previous events have been lauded for their impact, engaging nearly 3,000 people and reaching an audience of over 25,000.

We also offer free personal styling slots at our flagship events, aimed at anyone who self-identifies as being affected by trauma - or in other words, very difficult life experiences that have affected life outcomes."
Carolyn, a Liverpool Culture and Lifestyle Influencer known as Scouse Girl in the City, who is hosting the Sip and Shop event, adds, "Get down to the Lock and Quay - a brilliant community put in Bootle - this Tuesday evening. For £7 a table, you can sell your items while sipping on a glass of wine. Or just come and browse what’s on offer and sip while you shop!"
